Integrated Circles turn detective at the London Science Museum
London-based Audio Visual specialist Integrated Circles have just completed a major project at the Science Museum, London. Integrated Circles worked with the Museum to help them solve a problem encountered with the 45-strong projector system installed in the new Wellcome Wing.
Using their experience of working in the museum and heritage industry, the Integrated Circles team installed a wireless radio link solution, which now means that the Museum is fully in control of its projector system, without having to install a complicated, wired cabling system.
Technical Director Simon Beer, said: “As audio visual specialists we understand how important it is to provide a solution that merges seamlessly with its surroundings. Installing a wireless radio link at the Science Museum, London means that we were able to provide a relatively quick solution, without drilling and also without the need for unsightly cabling.”
The Science Museum offers a hands-on educational experience for parents, teachers and children alike, including activities that are designed to complement the National Curriculum. Collections range from the technological and medical - right through to fashion with a Vivien Westwood Axminster dress.
