Young Henry VIII at Hampton Court.

Everyone has a stereotyped image of Henry VIII as a bloated tyrannical wife killer, However he was not always that way. A new exhibition at Hampton Court Palace explores The Young Henry VIII,  his early life and the lives of Katharine of Aragon and Cardinal Thomas Wolsey. Touchscreen computer interactive explanations of period paintings, audio features replay from SoundStores and large screen video projection tell how ‘the lusty and courageous Prince’ became the king who’s actions changed England for ever.

Integrated Circles used their long experience of working within listed buildings to produce an effective and striking installation without compromising the historical fabric of the rooms they we were working within. Project Manager Paul Nolan said “This has a very exciting project and unique, providing contemporary interpretation and presentation techniques in such an historic setting. At every step during this installation, our engineers have had to work very closely with the conservators to ensure that none of the buildings historic fabric was disturbed, but the results have been worth it.”
